Our sambal mooncake is made of soft and buttery shortcrust pastry containing savoury homemade sambal filling (from spicy homemade shrimp paste) and a slight lotus paste sweetness. The combination with salted eggyolk is a match made in heaven, leaving you coming back for more.
Available in Box of 4s or individual pieces. Handmade upon order in Melbourne, Australia. *This is a savoury mooncake and contains chilli as one of its main ingredients, not to be confused with the conventional sweeter mooncakes.
They are wrapped in individual sealed packets and packaged in a plain cake box (if ordered in sets of 4; while box stocks last) - making it an ideal gift for friends and family.

I took a risk and ordered nyonya. The flavor is amazing. It’s mildly spicy and the yolk balances the flavor of the mooncake.
My guests and myself loved the nyonya sambal mooncake the best! If we could have a larger size of it, that would be better!
First time to try this exotic Nyonya Sambal Mooncake. It smells good. However, it does taste like munching on the shrimp rolls. Maybe I was expecting different sambal. Silly me. Otherwise, nice.
