I was a bit hesitated to order this flavour, as I was not sure it will work. To my surprise....it does...because the sambal is on the sweeter side and it goes well with pastry. Well done..
Such an unusual filling for moon cakes, but love the sambal taste.

Read rave reviews about Amour's sambal mooncake through earlier posts and decided to give it a go. Was not disappointed at all, and impressed by the mixture of sweet and salty, with a tinge of spicy, reminding me of the taste of Spicy Dried Shrimp Rolls, and couldn't help but to order some more!
